KBIS Gets Bumped For 2012 G8

KBIS Chicago originally scheduled for Aril 27-29, 2012 has been pushed from the usual attendee friendly weekend venue to mid-week April 24-26 Tuesday-Thursday. We see this playing out with fewer attendees for a couple of reasons. Mid-week has never been popular because of it's impact on business especially when dealer attendees plan to bring staff to the event. If you followed news coverage of last year's G8, the hotel scene was a nightmare with a large international swarm of G8 attendees and their retinue scopping up everything in sight. Also, if the G8 starts on Friday you can bet that the attendees will be arriving sooner - that's right, in the middle of the week (read as the middle of KBIS).
Thia all may be good for Chicago but how can it be good for KBIS?
